This blog is being created to help complete the assignments associated with ETC 447 at Northern Arizona University. The content found in these posts will be created with passing assignments in mind. This will help me by allowing me to draw one step closer to becoming a fully credentialed teacher.
Good Morning Bryan,
ReplyDeleteYour presentation was easy to follow and organized.
Your group gave excellent breakdowns and examples of each standard from both the student and educator view. I really loved the idea of a choice board for standard 1.6 for students. It’s important to keep the students interested and allowing them to have a say in their learning helps retain their interest.
On 1.2, digital citizen, it talks about being safe and responsible online, do you think you would teach online norms to your class or is it not necessary?
Great job to you, Alana, Tye, and Chynna!
Hi Bryan,
ReplyDeleteThe slide presenting Standard 1.7, I love the idea of incorporating a pen pal. It combines technology and links other aspects of education, such as reading and writing. The presentation is clear, and the examples are easy to understand—excellent work done by you and your team.
Hey Bryan,
ReplyDeleteNice, clean and clear presentation. I really like the examples in the mind map; It was something I wish we would have added to our own mind map.
Hi Bryan!
ReplyDeleteYour group did a great job explaining the standards and providing examples of how each can be implemented. The example for digital citizen looks like something students would enjoy. It would also promote collaboration through a platform in which many students enjoy. The pen pal idea from global collaborator also looks very intriguing and seems like it would be enjoyable for students.
Bryan,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy how your group referenced the various videos that were available on the ISTE website for each standard. Not only did it demonstrate how an educator can subtly show how to reference information pulled from a resource but it also allowed for to have a better understanding of how the example lesson for each standard could be completed.
